Max Verstappen must be feeling confident right now after winning his first race of the season, but the Dutchman hopes for rain so the opportunities to overtake increase.
After a rocky start of the season, to say the least, Verstappen has now stood on the podium three times in a row, and he climbed the top step during the last one of the three.
Therefore it's no surprise that the 20-year-old is looking forward to keeping his momentum going at Silverstone.
"Yes, Silverstone is a great track to end this busy stint at," he said on Red Bull's website.
"It has a lot of fast corners, Becketts and Maggots being my favourite and there are always loads of fans out in force."
Those fast corners also mean that overtaking is one of the hardest things to do at the track. That's why Verstappen might be performing some rain dances, to improve his chances of potential overtakes, as he probably won't qualify anywhere near first.
"It is quite hard to overtake due to the fast corners, which means it's hard to follow so I’ll be hoping for some of that lovely British rain.
"I have been on the podium once before there [2016, P2], so I’m eager to get back on it.
"Being close to the team HQ is also a bonus, it is nice for the mechanics and engineers to be close to home for a race weekend," he concluded.
