Ralf Schumacher has warned Max Verstappen and Red Bull that their car might jump like a "donkey or a goat" at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. "I'm very curious to see which team finds the best compromise."
- Ralf SchumacherThe Dutchman heads to the Sin City 49 points behind championship leader Lando Norris with just three weekends remaining, leaving a dwindling chance to win a fifth consecutive World Championship.
Heading to the streets of Vegas is always a bumpy experience for teams and drivers, and the RB21 has had many struggles throughout the year regarding that type of track characteristic.
With the Austrian team preferring to opt for a low-floor and stiff suspension setup, Schumacher explains that the uneven nature of the
Las Vegas Street Circuit will cut plenty of work out for Verstappen.

"Red Bull still has that little problem that they generate most of the downforce with the floor of the car," the 50-year-old stated on
Sky Sport Germany's F1 podcast, Backstage Boxengasse.
"For that to work, the ride height has to stay very low and the car has to be very stiffly sprung. And then it's just to be hoped that in Las Vegas there are not too many unevennesses and bumps.
"We have heard Max Verstappen say several times in the past that his car jumps like a donkey or a goat. Those are, in terms of tuning, limitations that you run into as a driver."
There was also an explanation from the German about how he would set up his car for lower temperatures during his time in the pinnacle of motorsport.
"We often set up the car so that it would normally eat tyres, just to get the tyres in the right operating window in terms of temperature," the former Jordan, Williams and Toyota driver explained.
"You actually kill the tyres on purpose. Of course, you can only do that to a certain extent, because you automatically reach the point where you overshoot... I'm very curious to see which team finds the best compromise in that."
Vegas weather to cause chaos?
Red Bull will be hoping that McLaren will continue to struggle in the Nevada desert, with the papaya-coloured team unable to get to grips with tyre temperatures in both 2023 and 2024.
Action will get underway wth the FP1 on Thursday in Las Vegas, starting at 16:30 PST, early on Friday morning in the UK at 00:30 GMT.
