George Russell was not satisfied with his result after the Miami Grand Prix's sprint race, where the British driver finished in P12. Russell also voiced his opinion on the format, saying that it was just "boring".
Starting from P11 on the grid, Russell was then stuck in a so-called 'DRS train'. "I think that race was just incredibly boring for everybody. It was just a DRS train and in F1 you can't overtake if you don't have DRS and when all the cars have got DRS you just couldn't overtake," the one-time race winner told Sky Sports.
He added: "I made a good start, I was stuck on the outside and obviously there was that big crash on the inside, and I lost five or six positions to the cars behind. I'm sure it'll be a different story tomorrow when things spread out. It was just a pretty boring race."

Russell hopeful for qualifying

After failing to qualify for SQ3 on Friday, Russell is looking forward to having the chance to make up for that in qualifying today. "[I'm] definitely more confident for qualifying compared to what we had yesterday. Pace was looking strong at points, it was faster in practice, it was better in Q1 yesterday. Q2 we obviously just didn't get it quite right but we've got another chance."
