Pit-stops don't need a 'knee-jerk' reaction

Haas boss Guenther Steiner believes there should be no major pit stop changes, despite the incident in Bahrain.
Ferrari were fined a total of 55,000 euros for two 'unsafe releases' of Kimi Raikkonen during the race in Bahrain, the second of which resulted in a broken leg for mechanic, Francesco Cigarini.
In Bahrain, eight of the teams completed pit stops in under three seconds, with questions raised about whether they have become too fast, as well as the problem of automated, 'traffic light' release system used by teams.
Steiner, who's team had problems in Australia with a double pit-stop failure, spoke in China about the pit stop issue, saying:
"For us it didn't make it interesting [in Australia], but it gives another element of risk in the race

"If you make everything 100 per cent safe why do we watch F1 racing? That's my opinion. We need to have it where a human being can make a mistake.
"It happened to us, and I'm not happy about it, but in general we need some risk-taking. If we make everything automised, we can put robots there and there will be no problem, but who is going to watch us?"
