Lewis Hamilton will be looking to win a sixth Chinese Grand Prix in a crucial race for Mercedes.
Mercedes have won the Grand Prix for the last four years, and team boss Toto Wolff is ready for his driver pairing of Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas to bounce back from the disappointment of the opening races, saying:
“We’re quite happy that this is a back-to-back race as that means that we won’t have to wait long to get racing again,
“Shanghai has been a good track for us in the past."
The last race in Shanghai which was not a Mercedes win was back in 2013 when Fernando Alonso won the race for Ferrari. Mercedes will be hoping that one of their drivers can close the 17-point championship lead that Vettel holds.
