Piastri's mum sees her son switch allegiance: 'I have questions'

Oscar Piastri is one of the many drivers who is often active on X (formerly Twitter). In the past, he has made jokes about having more than one home race, and this week was no exception. In search for a way to claim Monaco as his home race, he took to X to search for his 'Monégasque roots'.

The Australian driver found himself in a rather amusing exchange with Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who will be celebrating his home race this weekend. In order for Piastri to claim this weekend as another home race, Leclerc offered to adopt the McLaren driver.

Since the initial exchange, a range of hilarious responses have followed, including from Piastri's mother Nicole, and the official Miami Grand Prix account.
