Following the success of 'F1: The Movie', the film has made it onto the shortlist of several Academy Awards categories. The 'F1' movie, starring Brad Pitt (Sonny Hayes) and Damson Idris (Joshua Pearce), proved to be a success. The film, also co-produced by current Ferrari driver
Lewis Hamilton, also became the highest-grossing movie in the career of Pitt. Since last week, the film is also available on Apple TV.
After the movie received
two Golden Globe nominations in the 'Cinematic and Box Office Achievement' and 'Best Original Score - Motion Picture' categories, it has also been shortlisted in several categories of the 98th Academy Awards.
The film has made it to four shortlists which were already revealed: 'Cinematography', 'Music (Original Score)', 'Sound', and 'Visual Effects'. Additionally, Ed Sheeran's song "Drive" is also present in the 'Music (Original Song)' category.

When will the nominations be revealed?
How many nominations the 'F1' movie will end up having will not be known until next year.
Nominations voting will begin on 12 January, 2026. The nominations will then be announced on 22 January, 2026.
The 98th Oscars will then take place in Hollywood on 15 March, 2026.
