Johnny Herbert has described Scuderia Ferrari as the most disappointing outfit of the 2025 Formula 1 season. “The most disappointing team of 2025 has got to be Ferrari!”
- Johnny Herbert Speaking via a gambling platform, the 61-year-old pointed the finger at the Maranello-based outfit, highlighting their struggles throughout the campaign.
“Unfortunately, the most disappointing team of 2025 has got to be Ferrari! There are always so many expectations and such a strong desire for them to get back to those winning ways,” Herbert began.
The three-time
F1 race winner continued by highlighting how the Ferrari team just seemed unable to get things together during the campaign.

“But for whatever reason, the team can't seem to position itself with all the right ingredients, from the car, the engine, and the internal structure to what they need when it comes down to strategy,” he added.
He also noted that the team remains well-equipped with great drivers.
“They've got the drivers. That’s the thing, they've got the drivers...There’s now a reset for 2026, so let's hope that reset is something that brings them back into contention.”
The Ferrari team endured one of its most challenging seasons in recent memory. The Italian team failed to record any race victories and managed just seven Grand Prix podiums throughout the campaign.

The 71-year-old, who expressed disappointment with the campaign the team had experienced, pointed to the hierarchy at the Prancing Horse as a major concern.
