Lando Norris makes a big leap up the Formula 1 pay ranks thanks to his championship win in Abu Dhabi.
Topping the list, compiled by Forbes, is still Max Verstappen, who, despite falling short of defending his world title this time, earns a base salary of $65 million plus an additional $11 million in performance bonuses, bringing his total to a whopping $76 million.
Second place goes to Lewis Hamilton, who, after a disastrous season results-wise, can at least take comfort in a staggering $70 million salary, plus an additional $0.5 million in bonuses, keeping him close to the four-time world champion.
In third place is the newly crowned world champion, who, despite a base salary of $18 million, secures a podium spot thanks to $39.5 million in bonuses from McLaren and his on-track achievements, pushing his total earnings to $57.5 million.

In fourth place is Oscar Piastri, who, like his teammate, climbs the ranks thanks to $27.5 million in bonuses added to his $10 million base salary, bringing his total to $37.5 million.
Charles Leclerc loses ground, overtaken by the two McLaren drivers, finishing the season fifth with no performance-related bonuses and relying solely on his $30 million base salary.
Next up is Fernando Alonso in sixth with $26.5 million, George Russell, coming off a strong season with Mercedes, in seventh with $26 million, Lance Stroll in eighth with $13.5 million, Carlos Sainz in ninth with $13 million, and Kimi Antonelli closing out the top 10 with $12.5 million.
