The driver and the team will jointly pay fees in excess of $8 million to participate in the upcoming F1 season.
The Woking-based outfit, which claimed the 2025 Constructors’ Championship with 833 points, will pay over $7.7 million for its place on the F1 grid next season. Meanwhile, Norris will be required to pay $1.19m for his super license after claiming the Drivers’ Title.

Ahead of the 2025 F1 season, McLaren, which won the Constructors’ Title in 2024, paid fees in excess of $6.1 million after amassing 666 points during the campaign.
Norris will not be the only driver whose super license fee reaches seven figures for 2026. Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen will also be required to pay $1.18m for his license after finishing just two points behind the McLaren driver.
Oscar Piastri, who finished third in the drivers’ standings, will see his 2026 super license fee set at $1.15m.
The 2026 campaign marks the start of a new era in F1, with sweeping changes to the technical and aerodynamic regulations. In addition to this, an 11th team – Cadillac – will join the grid for the season.
