No Singapore GP this weekend: Haas wanted for third fastest lap in a row

It is raceweek again, but because of the coronavirus this week is also different than planned. The F1 circus is travelling to Russia instead of Singapore. There is racing, so it is not the end of the world, but the teams are disappointed that the Singapore GP will be skipped this year.

Fastest lap Kevin Magnussen

Haas regrets that there is no racing on the streets of Singapore. The Danish Haas driver Magnussen took the fastest lap on the circuit twice in a row (in 2018 and 2019). The team hoped for a third one this year. In the tweet below you can see the images of his fast lap last year.

Alexander Albon in the simulator

To still get some of the atmosphere, Alexander Albon enters the simulator for Red Bull Racing and drives a fast lap on the street circuit. He records a 1.36.759. A lot faster than Magnussen on the track. Of course the lap of Magnussen during the race was with older tyres and some more fuel. Take a look at the lap of Albon below.
