The Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend hasn't been the smoothest for McLaren. "That will be hard to overcome for McLaren now. They will be fighting to get the laps in and feel comfortable."

Lando Norris topped the charts in FP2 on Friday, he couldn't make it into the top 10 in the first practice session.
The session began in mixed conditions. As the track started to dry, Norris was the first to put the soft tyres on and try to test the limits at the Las Vegas Street Circut.
Though his pace set him among the contenders in the battle for pole in a few hours, the team faced telemetry issues that prevented both Norris as well as teammate
Oscar Piastri from taking advantage of the track when it was at its finest.
McLaren faces uphill battle in Las Vegas
These snags 2009 world champion Jenson Button told Sky Sports did not make going into qualifying any easier.
"It's not nice going into qualifying like McLaren are," he said.
"The reasons they are P19 and P20 is because they had telemetry issues (and had to abort laps when the track was at its best).
"But it's still not nice going into qualifying knowing they had issues going into it."

Fellow commentator Anthony Davidson, gave a similar view to Button's.
"That will be hard to overcome for McLaren now," Davidson stated. "They will be fighting to get the laps in and feel comfortable.
"I do feel like the car does have the speed, maybe not to match the likes of Verstappen and Russell, while the Ferraris look good in these conditions as well," he concluded laying out their opponents, who go into qualifying with perhaps a smidge more of confidence.
In the end Piastri and Norris would finish the session at the bottom of the order in P19 and P20 respectively. Click
