Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has reacted to the news regarding HM Queen Elizabeth's health. Hamilton expresses that his thoughts and prayers are with The Queen herself and the rest of the family.

The Queen's health

As preparations for the Italian Grand Prix got underway in Monza, the United Kingdom began to hear news from Buckingham Palace. The Queen, who is in residency in Balmoral, Scotland, is being monitored by doctors. Her immediate family have travelled to Scotland to be by her side.
In December 2021, Hamilton was knighted by Prince Charles and has previously met The Queen. The Mercedes driver sends his best wishes.
"Definitely concerning. I think she has been such a strong leader for such a long long time. So resilient. I know she has always been a real fighter. My thoughts are with her. I don't know more information about the situation. My thoughts are with the family and her. My prayers are with them and hoping for better news soon," Hamilton told Sky Sports.
