Charles Leclerc may be considering options beyond Ferrari if the team fails to make progress — at least, that’s what some reports in the Italian media suggest. However, Leclerc himself seemed puzzled by the rumors, admitting he has no idea where such stories suddenly came from.
Addressing the rumors ahead of Canadian GP on Thursday, the Monegasque driver said: "I am very surprised. I mean, I have no idea where it comes from. So I'd rather just ignore it. But I have not said anything about this in the recent races."
Leclerc reiterates his love Ferrari and denies rumors
Despite recent rumors about a possible departure, Leclerc once again reaffirmed his love for the Prancing Horse: "I keep saying how much I love the team and how much I want to bring Ferrari back to the top. So yes, I was just surprised."
