As media day in Canada comes to a close, GP Blog has picked out the two most important stories of the day. Make sure you don’t miss them!
After making plenty of headlines during the Barcelona weekend, Max Verstappen appears to have (at least temporarily) buried the hatchet with George Russell, following their bizarre late-race clash in the Spanish Grand Prix.
Both drivers addressed the incident one final time, with the Dutchman now fully aware that he risks a race ban if he picks up just one more penalty point on his super licence.
But the real question is: will Verstappen change his racing approach from now on?
Today, several Italian media outlets reported that Frederic Vasseur's position as Ferrari team principal could be at risk, with the next three races potentially proving decisive for his future.
Meanwhile, other names have begun to circulate as possible successors to the Frenchman — beyond that of Christian Horner. One of the most mentioned candidates is Antonello Coletta, currently head of Ferrari's WEC program, who is reportedly among those ready to step in if needed.
Asked about the recent rumors, Lewis Hamilton also weighed in, firmly expressing his stance on the matter.
