It never rains, but it pours. That's the saying of the season in the Williams garage. Lance Stroll will start the Hungarian Grand Prix in the pits after being forced into a wing change overnight following his crash in Q2 yesterday.
The Canadian spun around in the wet and caught his front wing on the barrier. The spin not only ruined his own lap, but also Daniel Ricciardo's hot lap.
Williams introduced a new front wing last weekend, and they don't have any spares. The old wing will make it harder for Stroll to control the car.
Stroll told Autosport: "I was on a pretty good lap until then and I was on a part of the circuit where it was raining and got caught out."
After the first corner, Stroll will join his team-mate Sergey Sirotkin who starts from the back of the grid.
