Lewis Hamilton has managed to take another top 5 qualifying result at his home race. However, due to the intricacies of the SF-25, the Briton and his teammate are subject to constantly being on the limit to extract the most performance from the car.
The Briton then revealed how he and teammate Charles Leclerc are forced to overdrive and exceed the car's capabilities to achieve the highest possible results. "We're over-driving [the car] to get that extra bit of time. On actual pure pace, I don't think the car is as quick, naturally," said Hamilton to media including GPblog after qualifying.
"So we're probably having to go a little bit too far, which then makes it [to] where the car is super peaky. So we need a little bit more performance to come," added the Briton.

Hamilton speaks about Leclerc's and his own issues with the Ferrari F1 car

After the race, Leclerc spoke about a trait in the SF-25 that bit him hard and kept him from achieving a better qualifying position. When asked if he had experienced anything similar this session, Hamilton tellingly said: "Not today."
But is it a recurring theme in the Ferrari garage? "Pretty much all the other sessions, yeah. The second run in Q3 has always been a little bit harder, but today I was progressing, which was positive, so I think I've taken a step there. I think there's still more to get," added Hamilton.
When asked if the issue could be solved this season, Hamilton replied with an ominous: "I'm not sure it will be in this season."
