Ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the French driver said: "I have an idea, but I don't know."
When asked if he had seen the rumors linking him to Red Bull for a seat alongside Max Verstappen, Hadjar added: "I really don't care. I had five days off at home. I had other things to do than scrolling on Instagram."

Hadjar has no reservations about teaming up with Verstappen for 2026

At the Italian GP, the Frenchman admitted he wants to drive for the best team, targeting a move to Red Bull Racing for the 2026 season.
"It's always something I have in mind, and there are nine races left to prove I keep doing a good job," he told GPblog.
"I want to drive for the best team, that's all I want really. If I happen to be alongside him, I would be adapting to a car that's changing, but at least I’d be there. So I wouldn't be used to something. I can drive the car that's underneath me."

A strong rookie season so far

The Frenchman has so far enjoyed a rookie season well beyond expectations. After retiring on the formation lap in Australia, Hadjar quickly raised his level over the following months, earning multiple points finishes and topping it off at Verstappen’s home track in Zandvoort, where he claimed his first career podium after achieving his best qualifying result to date (fourth).
Hadjar currently sits on 38 points—18 more than his teammate Liam Lawson and more than triple the tally of Yuki Tsunoda at Red Bull.
