“It scares me.”
- Isack HadjarHadjar, who is due to appear on the Clique programme on Canal+ on September 22, spoke in preview clips from his interview with the outlet. The 20-year-old touched on teaming up with Verstappen as well as his future in
Formula 1 in general.
“It scares me, but it’s also incredibly exciting. Seeing myself team up with Max? Of course! And what a line-up,” Hadjar said.
“Of course, it’s early in my career, but I may have this opportunity. You give me the same car as the best driver in the world, and he’s right next to me. I have the opportunity to compare myself to him, and I have the same chances as him.”
Quizzed by the interviewer if he was offering too much of a spoiler about the
Racing Bulls driver’s future, Hadjar responded:
“You’re not really spoiling, it’s the trajectory. It’s written.”
Hadjar, who is in his rookie campaign in Formula 1, has continued to impress many through the first 16 rounds of the 2025 season. The former F2 driver took things a notch higher with a brilliant drive, which saw him record a podium finish at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort.
