Isack Hadjar has weighed in on the possibility of joining Max Verstappen at the Red Bull Racing team for 2026. The French driver detailed that he is ready to team up with the four-time world champion if given the opportunity for the upcoming campaign.
The 20-year-old, who enters the
Italian Grand Prix off the back of a podium finish in Zandvoort, told the media, including
GPblog, that he would be pleased to make the jump to the Milton Keynes outfit, with the sweeping regulations set to herald
Formula 1 in 2026.
“I mean, to be honest, at the start of the year, they were asking me if I was feeling ready to jump in the Red Bull this year. The answer is still no. I don't see the point of doing that right now.”
“But 26 is a different question because it's a brand new start for the team. There wouldn't be talk of the second car, this familiar thing, because it's a brand new car for everyone. You actually will be in a phase where you need to direct the car in the right direction. I think this is actually interesting.”

Hadjar: It is something I have in mind
Isack Hadjar also admitted he harbours thoughts of a promotion to the Red Bull Racing team. The
Racing Bulls driver, however, stressed the need to continue building on his impressive form to ensure it materialises.
“It's always something I have in mind, and there are nine races left to prove I keep doing a good job.”
Red Bull Racing advisor Helmut
Marko had also earlier hinted at Hadjar being considered for the second seat at the Milton Keynes outfit. However, the 82-year-old stated the team would take its time before making a decision.
