This year's Silly Season is more exciting than ever. Pierre Gasly, for example, seemed certain of his seat within the Red Bull teams, but according to various sources he is under pressure after internal struggles. Gasly himself does not want to say anything about this.
Red Bull holds the key to the drivers' market. With three of the four seats still available on the two teams and a whole mountain of available drivers, Red Bull a choice. Yuki Tsunoda is still mentioned for AlphaTauri and Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez are contenders for the senior team. This also puts Pierre Gasly under pressure.

Problems for Gasly?

At the Nürburgring, a rumour came out that Gasly had caused dissatisfaction within his team and had spoken to Renault. The French team may have him in mind as a replacement for Esteban Ocon, but according to Gasly himself, none of this is true.
''Helmut Marko and Dietrich Mateschitz manage us as Red Bull drivers. I do not know if there are any options outside Red Bull's programme, because I am not involved in those discussions. So I can't comment on that," says Gasly according to Motorsport-Magazin.com.
