The third free practice session for Portugal's GP is over and the drivers can prepare for qualifying later this afternoon.
Valtteri Bottas was again the fastest, but
Lewis Hamilton and
Max Verstappen were close behind the Finn.
Bottas has been ahead in Portugal all weekend and shows once again in FP3 that he really wants to fight
Lewis Hamilton. The Finn set the fastest time: a 1:16.654. His teammate Lewis Hamilton was only three-hundredths of a second behind him.
Max Verstappen was also very fast again, but the Dutchman only drove on the medium tyre during this session.
Verstappen only fast on medium
So it will be interesting to see what Verstappen will be able to do during qualifying. He hasn't set a fast time on the soft tyre yet, so maybe he can go for pole. Furthermore,
Pierre Gasly performed very well, despite the problems he had yesterday. He finishes on P4, ahead of
Alexander Albon.
It also seems to be going a bit better with
Ferrari,
Charles Leclerc finished in sixth place. Vettel is a bit disappointed again in eleventh place. Furthermore, the top ten is complemented by Sainz, Perez, Norris and Ocon.
