F1 goes overboard with eye-watering price tag for exclusive dinner in Zandvoort

At first glance, it’s a particularly nice initiative, which was unveiled during the Belgian Grand Prix weekend: "Fans of motor racing and the very best in dining experiences can enjoy world-class cuisine from two Michelin-starred Dutch restaurants, Restaurant Aan de Poel and De Bokkedoorns, and take part in a once-in-a-lifetime culinary adventure at Circuit Zandvoort." Formula 1 announced in a press release.

The Out Lap is designed for just twelve guests. They take a seat in a moving restaurant that drives around Circuit Zandvoort and stops at the most iconic locations on the track. At each stop, the F1 ambassadors talk about those spots, followed by a dish that reflects that exact location, Formula 1 writes.

You can now register for this event, which takes place on the Friday and Saturday of the race weekend in Zandvoort. Not in the mood for a hamburger or some fries, but want to dine in style? Then this is truly something for the F1 fan. You will, however, need a well-filled wallet. You can join if you pay 10,473.66 euros per person. That does include Moët Hennessy wines.

It’s no coincidence that Formula 1 is rolling out this concept for Zandvoort. The 2026 edition is the last Dutch Grand Prix on the current calendar, prompting the organizers to try various ways of giving the event a special send-off. The Out Lap is set to be one of the most exclusive parts of the weekend.
