A filmmaker with a soft spot for Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen and above all, Tazio Nuvolari and Ayrton Senna, is also a diehard Formula One fan since the age of 4 (mid-90's). An avid researcher of the past of Grand Prix Racing since before it was even named F1, and with a thirst for knowledge of the ins and outs of the actuality of the sport, as well as for the technical aspects that define it, is a member of GPblog since 2023, where he has put his love of racing to good use.
The annual FIA Prize givin gala is set to take place this Friday in Rwanda. All FIA sanctioned Motorsport classes will gather to celebrate their respective winners, including of course the now four time World Champion, Max Verstappen, runner up Lando Norris and third placed man, Charles Leclerc.
McLaren, of course, are eager to receive their first trophy in the Motorsport premier class since 1998, so representatives of the team will also be present in the African country.
For Verstappen, however, it will not only be a matter of receiving his 2024 World Driver's Championship trophy, since he will also be expected to serve his Singapore FIA Press Conference swearing penalty here, working alongside young drivers of the region in a development programme lead by the Rwanda Automobile Club (RAC).
