Liam Lawson provisionally scored a point during the Sprint at the British Grand Prix. However, the New Zealander is now under investigation by the stewards.
Lawson was battling Red Bull Racing driver Isack Hadjar at Silverstone during the final laps as he tried to hold on to the final points-paying position. The Frenchman had suffered another poor start in the Red Bull but was on course to recover the positions he had lost.
Entering Stowe, Lawson closed the door hard on Hadjar. The Red Bull driver was then furious over the team radio. He said: "Man that was crazy, move under braking so hard." They will have to report to the stewards at 13:20 local time at the Silverstone Circuit.

Lawson under investigation

The stewards are now investigating Lawson for moving under braking. If he receives a penalty, Hadjar will be promoted to P8 and earn another point.

Hulkenberg also summoned by the stewards

Audi's Nico Hulkenberg will also have to report to the stewards at 13:00 local time. That is for leaving the track in Turn 9 without a justifiable reason, and allegedly gaining a lasting advantage.
