This weekend, Ferrari will race on home soil at Monza with a special livery for the SF-25, inspired by the iconic 312 T that Niki Lauda drove to his 1975 World Championship title.
Ferrari turns white ahead of its second home Grand Prix of the year—none other than the most iconic and eagerly awaited race for Italian fans: Monza.
In recent years, the Maranello-based team has introduced themed liveries for its home GP, such as the Modena yellow design in 2022 and 2023.
This year, Ferrari has already unveiled its dedicated Monza merchandise, with blue as the dominant color.
As for this year's car livery, Ferrari aims to honor the memory of Niki Lauda, who won two of his three career titles with the Maranello team, by adding a touch of white to the engine cover area of the SF-25.
The goal is to evoke the iconic 312 T, the car with which the Austrian driver claimed his first world championship in 1975, exactly 50 years ago.
Driver suits and helmets, as well as team and mechanic outfit, will also be inspired by Lauda—featuring a retro design that pays homage to the 1975 era. Notably, the rectangular prancing horse logo will make its return, replacing the modern shield emblem on team apparel.

Ferrari reveals new livery for Monza

''The 1975 312 T’s livery is iconic and will be revived this weekend on the cars of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton thanks to a special wrapping technology developed in collaboration with title partner HP, already used for the special livery seen at the Miami Grand Prix,'' the team shares.
''The SF-25s will reflect the signature traits of the legendary 312 T: the shade of red will match that of fifty years ago, the classic white longitudinal stripes will be present, as well as the drivers’ names written in cursive script.''
''The race numbers will also hark back to the past with black numbers on a white rectangular background. The rear wing will be metallic silver, evoking the aluminium used in those days before carbon fibre became the F1 standard.''
''The SF-25 engine cover will of course be white like Lauda’s car, and the wheels will feature a design inspired by the rims of the time.''
