F1 Social Check | Verstappen makes a lot of noise in Zandvoort with the V8 engine

The Formula 1 season is nearly with us and teams have finished winter testing in Barcelona. Mercedes were at the top of the timesheet during the test but who will be on top in Australia? In F1 Social Check we keep you up to date with everything that keeps the drivers and teams busy whilst they prepare for the new season.

On Wednesday Max Verstappen was spotted at the circuit of Zandvoort. The Dutchman was present with Red Bull Racing to cut the ribbon at the new circuit and drive the first laps on the new track. It was not possible to use the RB16 so an old RB8 from 2012, which still has an old V8 engine with slightly more noise than the current hybrid engine, was used.

The older Verstappen celebrated his 48th birthday and Max took to social media to send his father a birthday message.

Bottas has waited a while but has finally revealed his lid for the 2020 season. What do you think of this new design?
