The Moto2 race in Indonesia began with a big crash that involved four riders. The session had to be red-flagged as well.
Heading into Turn 1 after the start, future MotoGP rider Daniel Holgado lost control of his bike and hit his teammate David Alonso. Holgado also took out American Racing rider Joe Roberts, while the fuel tank that came off Alonso's bike hit Collin Veijer's KTM. Luckily, all four riders were back on their feet after the incident.
As the race was red-flagged before three laps were completed, the riders will now line up on the original grid.
Alonso's bike cannot be repaired in such a short amount of time, however, Holgado and Veijer's team are working hard to have the only bike they have ready for the restart. Watch the incident below!
