Charles Leclerc highlighted the strength of the newly-upgraded Ferrari at the Miami Grand Prix, finishing ahead of Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri in the only pratice session of the weekend.
After a five-week hiatus, the F1 circus arrived in Miami for the first sprint weekend of the season on the back of the FIA making some tweaks to the current regulations.
As a result, an extra 30 minutes were added to the only practice session for teams and drivers to gain valuable data amid a plethora of upgrades, and it was Leclerc and Ferrari who impressed, leading for the majoirty of the session.
Max Verstappen finished three-tenths behind in P2 as Red Bull showed some improvements, while Oscar Piastri and Lewis Hamilton finished in P3 and P4, respectively.
Kimi Antonelli took P5 but missed out on some vital soft tyre running due to an issue, while George Russell and Lando Norris is sixth and seventh made mistakes on their lap times.

Pierre Gasly, Isack Hadjar and Carlos Sainz rounded out the top ten.
