Max Verstappen’s sim racing team, Team Redline, was disqualified this weekend from the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. While their livestreams are usually available for replay on their Twitch channel, there is no trace of this broadcast. As in previous years, Team Redline took part in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Following past successes, expectations were high for another strong performance this year. The team secured the front row with two cars after qualifying.
No Team Redline streams to be found
But even before the race began, all three cars were in the virtual pit lane. The team followed a separate strategy, which was later deemed cheating, leading to the disqualification of all vehicles.
Meanwhile, the team was streaming live on their Twitch channel as usual, but the broadcast ended abruptly after the disqualification. Normally, the livestream would remain available for replay on the platform, yet the team chose not to make it accessible this time.

Max Verstappen was also going to join the livestream for a session with questions submitted by fans, but due to the premature end of the livestream, this did not happen.
The Dutchman did not participate in any of the cars on the virtual circuit anyway. A statement from IRacing, the organization of the virtual race, or from Team Redline itself, is not available at this time. The entire race, and thus the disqualification of Team Redline, can be found on the channels of IRacing, however.
