Mercedes extended its lead in the constructors' standings, largely thanks to Kimi Antonelli’s victory at the Miami Grand Prix. McLaren also scored strong points in the United States.
Ferrari remains in second place ahead of McLaren, but the Woking-based team got considerably closer after both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri finishing on the podium. With Max Verstappen finishing fifth, Red Bull is now nine points ahead of Alpine in fourth place. Williams also moved up a position after both Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon finished inside the top ten.
