Daniel Ricciardo suddenly became a topic of discussion again.
He unexpectedly appeared in a photo with George Russell and Oscar Piastri.
There was also a lot of reaction to a new source of income for the former teammate of Max Verstappen. But the big question: Will
we see Ricciardo back in
Formula 1, possibly with Cadillac in 2026? Ricciardo not in the picture at Cadillac
Despite his experience and charismatic image – massively
popular in the United States – Ricciardo is not on Cadillac's shortlist. Moreover, he has indicated himself that his F1 chapter is closed. Cadillac aims for a combination of proven experience and young talent, but
Ricciardo does not seem to fit that picture. Therefore, do not expect a comeback from
the 'Honey Badger' at the American team.
Where Ricciardo did make a comeback was on the padel court –
in the company of George Russell and Oscar Piastri. Together with snowboarder
Scotty James, the drivers played a game of padel in Monaco.

Bottas hints at F1 seat with Cadillac
Valtteri Bottas is – unlike Ricciardo –
one of the names being considered by Cadillac for a seat in
the new Formula 1. No announcements have been made yet, but Bottas,
currently the third driver at Mercedes,
seems to hint in a video at a
possible seat with the American outfit. Officially nothing is known yet about Cadillac's lineup
next year. However, it is clear that the new F1 team is looking for an
experienced driver, combined with a young, preferably American driver.
Bottas is one of the names linked to a seat, but Sergio
Perez is also mentioned. However, it remains to be seen for an official announcement.
