Bottas shares strange 'Happy New Year' video to celebrate full-time return

After spending 2025 as Mercedes' third driver, a new chapter awaits Bottas this year.

The Finnish driver joins Cadillac, the 11th team on the grid, for the 2026 season, as the American team revealed ahead of last year’s Dutch Grand Prix.

Sergio Perez will return alongside Bottas, completing a well-experienced line-up for Cadillac's first year in the competition.

While the Finnish driver previously immersed himself in Australian culture, he is now getting more familiar with the USA as well thanks to his new team.

On social media, Bottas also shared an unexpected video in social media with the caption "Happy New Year!"

The first livery of the Cadillac team will be launched during the Super Bowl this year.

The reveal will take place during the famous halftime commercial break. This year’s halftime show star will be Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny.
