The Cadillac F1 Team has officially revealed its drivers for its debut year in 2026. Both will be on a multi-year deal. In the team's press release, the team mentions that
Valtteri Bottas and
Sergio Perez will 'lead the team into its debut year in 2026.'
Team principal Graeme Lowdon also talked about their choice for the upcoming year.
"Signing two very experienced racers like Bottas and Checo is a bold signal of intent," he commented.
Multi-year deals for the two experienced drivers
Bottas and Perez will be on multi-year deals with the 11th team, that is set to join the year the next regulation change will come into effect.
Earlier, team principal Lowdon responded to the rumours about Christian Horner joining the team.
The Briton declined that possibility, officially 'shutting it down'.
