Christian Horner to Cadillac? Top executive responds to rumours!

Over the past weeks, German medium Auto, Motor und Sport leaked that Cadillac would be interested in Christian Horner.

The former team boss of Red Bull Racing would have been a candidate for a role at Cadillac, but not as team principal, as Graeme Lowdon already holds that position.

At the announcement of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez, Dan Towriss, the CEO of the Cadillac Formula 1 team, was asked about the rumours surrounding Christian Horner.

"There have been no talks with Christian Horner. No plans to do that. I’d like to officially shut down that rumor," Towriss said according to AP.

GPblog previously explained in an analysis why Horner's arrival at a specifically American team wouldn't be expected. GPblog also exclusively brought later that Horner's arrival at Cadillac would be quite spicy, given the employee who started the case against Horner, has just been hired by Cadillac.
