Fernando Alonso is eagerly looking forward to saying goodbye to the AMR25 at the end of the season and focusing on 2026.
"I take it as two celebratory races, also because we won't be driving this car anymore, so it has to be a celebration for that reason"

The two-time world champion finished the Las Vegas GP in 13th, later promoted to 11th following the disqualification of the two McLarens. It was still a disappointing result for the Spaniard, who is eagerly counting down the final two races of the season in Qatar and Abu Dhabi before saying goodbye to the AMR25.
"They are two celebratory grands prix, or I take it that way," he told DAZN after the race. "Qatar with the sprint, which we don't have much time and we can't sleep because we only have one free practice session and we're already going to qualifying, and then Abu Dhabi, which is usually a farewell for everyone and a bit of rest.

Is Horner set to make F1 return through Aston Martin?

In what proved to be another challenging day on track, Aston Martin is reported to have parted ways with team principal Andy Cowell, less than a year into his tenure.
Cowell, one of the leading figure at Mercedes in the hybrid era, joined Aston Martin as CEO at the end of 2024 and stepped into the team principal role at the start of this season, replacing Mike Krack. Several names have already been linked to the vacancy, including Andreas Seidl, while Christian Horner has also been floated as a possibility.
Horner, who was dismissed by Red Bull Racing ahead of the Belgian GP, is reportedly still serving a period of gardening leave, meaning he would only be able to join a new team midway through 2026.
