Albon: "Now hunting for Mercedes"

Alexander Albon is satisfied with his RB16 and wants to hunt Mercedes with his brand new car. Despite little preparation time the British Thain feels at ease in the Red Bull.

"The car feels good, we now have to make sure we get the speed out of the car", says the ambitious team mate of Max Verstappen in conversation with GQ Magazine. "The important thing now is that we're going to get Mercedes. That team is again very strong this year." Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas occupy first and second place in the standings, with 63 and 58 points respectively. Albon is fifth with 22 points.

Albon admits that he still has to get used to his new speed devil. "It just feels different than the previous car. At the moment Max and I are just taking more time to get used to the car. We didn't have much time to practice ahead of the season. Things have changed since the winter tests in Barcelona, we are still fine-tuning".
