Pourchaire is part of the Sauber academy and is considered one of the biggest talents of the moment. Pourchaire is currently driving in Formula 2 with the ART team and in Monaco, he managed to become the youngest ever polesitter and race winner of the class. He is currently sixth in the standings with 65 points.

Still no seat in F1

The teenager hopes to race in Formula 1 soon but expects that it might take a while yet. He still has a lot to learn and Alfa Romeo team principal Frederic Vasseur is also not in a hurry to get his protegee into Formula 1.
