As well as a car at the back of the grid and spinning teammates, Mick Schumacher has also been plagued by an ill-fitting seat in his rookie season at Haas. In a new interview, the driver explains that he needs a more crooked seat than is currently installed in the Haas.

"The seat is symmetrical, I'm not - and it took me only, well, long enough to find that out", Schumacher revealed to Autosport.com. "But again, I think that fact is what we have to do is now we'll have to do a crooked seat, so that I am central in the car.”

Steiner uncertain

Steiner also gives his view on the situation. However, he is not yet sure that an asymmetrical seat is the solution."I actually spoke with Mick when we were in the factory on Tuesday, and we had a little laugh about it. For sure it will be ready for Hungary."

The team boss continued: "If we make it on Monday, it will be ready for Hungary. But if it is crooked or not, I don't know yet."
