LIVE | Day two of the 2022 Formula 1 winter test in Barcelona

On Thursday, the second test day of the 2022 Formula 1 season is scheduled. There will be no live footage from the test in Barcelona this year, but at GPblog we'll keep you up to date with the very latest developments all day long in our liveblog!

On Wednesday it was mainly Ferrari and Red Bull Racing who impressed. Ferrari managed to drive the most miles and Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz both finished in the top three of the timesheets. Lando Norris was the fastest man of the day, but during the winter test we don't place much value on times.

Red Bull also got a lot of attention, as the team appeared on the track with some striking aerodynamic designs, including the side pods. Max Verstappen drove the most laps in his RB18 after Ferrari, and the team immediately sounded positive after the first day.

Wednesday did not go well for everyone, as Haas and Alfa Romeo appeared to have problems with their cars. The two teams will hope to make up for the missed miles today. Sergio Perez will take over the wheel from Verstappen today.
