Yamaha already has found a replacement for Fabio Quartararo, as according to Autosport, the Japanese brand is finalizing a deal with Jorge Martin.
After earlier reports of the French champion signing a two-year deal with Honda from the 2027 season onwards, Yamaha is said to be close to agree a deal with 2024 MotoGP champion Jorge Martin.
After winning the title with Pramac two years ago, the Spaniard joined Aprilia in 2025. After a contract dispute during the past season, Martin continues with the Italian brand this season.
The contract lenght would reportedly concern two seasons.
