Marco Bezzecchi was the quickest rider during the Timed Practice session at the San Marino Grand Prix. He finished a tenth ahead of Marc Marquez.
After Marc Marquez set the pace in FP1, the Italian reclaimed P1 from his title rival in MotoGP during today's second session.
As usual, 10 riders secured their places in Q2 on Saturday during the MotoGP timed practice session.
During the final 10 minutes, the riders focused on setting the best times possible, with championship leader Martin still outside the cut at that point. The Spaniard managed to get inside the top 10, even though his final lap was cancelled.
Together with the Marquez brothers and the two Aprilia factory riders, Pedro Acosta, the two VR46 riders, Luca Marini, Johann Zarco, and Pol Espargaró also secured places in Q2.

Raul Fernandez and Francesco Bagnaia are among the riders who will also have to participate in Q1 tomorrow. The former MotoGP world champion finished only 19th, more than a second behind his future Aprilia teammate.
