The first Brazilian MotoGP race for 22 years concluded with Marco Bezzecchi as the winner in a dominant display from the Italian.
The race, which was reduced by eight laps due to degradation of the track over the course of the week, was controlled from the outset by the Aprilia duo of Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin.
Marc Marquez and pole-sitter Fabio Di Giannanontio were left to battle over the final podium position with Di Giannantonio coming out on top in what was arguably the battle of the race.
Brazil's Diogo Moreira had a memorable home Grand Prix, scoring points in front of his home crowd and finishing the race in 13th place.
Elsewhere, Yamaha's woes continued as all four riders found themselves well off the pace and outside the top ten.

Meanwhile it was another race to forget for two-time champion Francesco Bagnaia, who crashed out midway through the race at Turn 1. Miller, Binder and Mir were the only other crashers of the race.
