Marc Marquez closed his gap to the top of the MotoGP championship with another victory in Brno, while Marco Bezzecchi was suspended from the race after striking a track marshal during the sprint. Two-time champion Francesco Bagnaia had another solid race and led for the first half, but eventually was passed by Marquez and then Ogura, but held on for a podium.
Meanwhile, Jorge Martin closed the gap to just eight points despite having to serve a double long lap penalty.

Round 8: Hungarian Grand Prix

After a huge crash on the opening lap which took out five riders including both Aprilias, Marc Marquez took advtange to win the race after a great battle with Pedro Acosta. Jorge Martin was handed a double long lap penalty for the causing the crash.
Round 7: Italian Grand Prix

Marco Bezzecchi extended his lead at the top of the MotoGP Championship over Aprilia teammate Jorge Martin after a stunning and historic victory at his home race in Mugello.
Despite what looked like some promising signs for Ducati, with Francesco Bagnaia making the Sunday podium and Marc Marquez achieving a solid result on his return from injury, it was Aprilia who made a statement with their fourth 1-2 finish of the year.
Round 6: Spanish Grand Prix
While Martin was in better form in Barcelona on Sunday, Bezzecchi managed to extend his lead in the riders' standings this weekend. On Sunday, Martin was battling for a podium place after the second restart when Raul Fernandez took him out. The 2024 world champion was furious in the pit lane afterwards. Thanks to his victory, Di Giannantonio has solidified his position as third in the standings.

Jorge Martin claimed victory in the sprint after an incredible move on the opening lap, but it was on Sunday where he truly shined - carving his way through the field before eventually sticking a precise move on Bezzecchi to claim the victory. The top two Aprilia riders were separated by just a single point.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez got injured on Saturday. This meant that the defending world champion was also ruled out for at least the next to Grands Prix as well.
Round 4: Spanish Grand Prix

The Spanish Grand Prix delivered plenty of action after a dramatic qualifying and sprint Saturday saw Marc Marquez win despite crashing. On Sunday, another crash followed for the Spaniard, leaving him in a difficult situation.
Marc Marquez crashed out on Lap 2 of this year’s Spanish Grand Prix, leaving the defending champion empty-handed on Sunday. His Ducati factory teammate Francesco Bagnaia also failed to score points after a technical failure.

Round 3: USA Grand Prix 2026

The USA Grand Prix deliver sensational entertainment, particularly in the sprint race. After Marc Marquez took out Fabio Di Giannantonio on the opening lap, it was Fransceco Bagnaia who led. Bezzecchi crashed out of P2, leaving Jorge Martin to fight for the win. On the final lap, Martin dive-bombed Bagnaia in spectacular style and claimed a comeback victory.
In the main race on Sunday, it was a different story altogether. Bezzecchi dominated from the opening lap as Martin and Acosta made up the podium. Marc Marquez was left in P5.
Round 2: Brazilian Grand Prix 2026

The Brazilian Grand Prix weekend in Goiania, Brazil has come to an end with a dominant display from Aprilia, who really seem like the team to beat at the outset of 2026.
Marco Bezzecchi led the race from start to finish, with teammate Jorge Martin claiming an incredible second place ahead of Di Giannantonio.
It was a disappointing race for Marc Marquez, who failed to finish on the podium for the first time in Ducati red while still crossing the finish line.
Round 1: Thai Grand Prix 2026

The drama of the Thai Grand Prix began on Saturday with an intense sprint race which saw pole-sitter Marco Bezzecchi slide out of the lead on lap 2. Acosta took his maiden sprint win after Marc Marquez was penalized for an aggressive divebomb into the final corner. In the main race, Bezzecchi took control and
dominated the race from flag-to-flag. He was helped by a competitive fight between Acosta, Fernandez, Martin and Marc Marquez behind, with the reigning champion forced to retire due to a tyre puncture.
