The Spanish Grand Prix has already delivered plenty of action after a dramatic qualifying and sprint Saturday saw Marc Marquez win despite crashing. On Sunday, another crash followed for the Spaniard, leaving him in a difficult situation.
Marc Marquez crashed out on Lap 2 of this year’s Spanish Grand Prix, leaving the defending champion empty-handed on Sunday. He now trails Marco Bezzecchi by 44 points in the standings. His Ducati factory teammate Francesco Bagnaia also failed to score points after a technical failure.
Bezzecchi extended his lead over Jorge Martin after
finishing second behind Alex Marquez in Jerez. The gap between the two Aprilia riders is now 11 points.

Round 3: USA Grand Prix 2026

The USA Grand Prix deliver sensational entertainment, particularly in the sprint race. After Marc Marquez took out Fabio Di Giannantonio on the opening lap, it was Fransceco Bagnaia who led. Bezzecchi crashed out of P2, leaving Jorge Martin to fight for the win. On the final lap, Martin dive-bombed Bagnaia in spectacular style and claimed a comeback victory.
In the main race on Sunday, it was a different story altogether. Bezzecchi dominated from the opening lap as Martin and Acosta made up the podium. Marc Marquez was left in P5.

The Brazilian Grand Prix weekend in Goiania, Brazil has come to an end with a dominant display from Aprilia, who really seem like the team to beat at the outset of 2026.
Marco Bezzecchi led the race from start to finish, with teammate Jorge Martin claiming an incredible second place ahead of Di Giannantonio.
It was a disappointing race for Marc Marquez, who failed to finish on the podium for the first time in Ducati red while still crossing the finish line.

The drama of the Thai Grand Prix began on Saturday with an intense sprint race which saw pole-sitter Marco Bezzecchi slide out of the lead on lap 2. Acosta took his maiden sprint win after Marc Marquez was penalized for an aggressive divebomb into the final corner. In the main race, Bezzecchi took control and
dominated the race from flag-to-flag. He was helped by a competitive fight between Acosta, Fernandez, Martin and Marc Marquez behind, with the reigning champion forced to retire due to a tyre puncture.
Pedro Acosta leads the championship at the conclusion of the opening weekend.
