Wolff’s son passes over his father’s Mercedes stars for favourite driver

Celebrating Father's Day in Italy, a video was uploaded on social media where Toto Wolff sits with his son Jack at a karting event.

Jack was asked who his favourite driver is, but he chose not to pick anyone currently or previously employed by his father at Mercedes.

Instead of selecting Lewis Hamilton, George Russell or Kimi Antonelli, Jack picked two-time world champion Fernando Alonso.

"Because he's a two-time world champion, and I just like him a lot," Jack explained, while his father was smiling next to him.

The Austrian team boss was happy to see Antonelli score his first Formula 1 Grand Prix victory last weekend in China.

Wolff enjoyed his 'little revenge', he told GPblog, among others, after the race.
