Moto2 French Grand Prix Results: Izan Guevara makes statement in Le Mans

The French Grand Prix delivered more chaos in the Moto2 class as an exciting season begins to heat up at the front-end of the championship.
Spain's Dani Holgado had a high side on the opening lap but was thankfully okay despite being slightly shaken. The red flags then came out on Lap 3 after Jorge navarro crashed on the straight with the bike in a difficult position to recover for the marshalls, which enabled Holgado to rejoin.
Izan Guevara looked comfortable from start to finish as he made a statement in his 2026 championship challenge and held off Manuel Gonzales and Ivan Ortola for the victory.
David Alonso had a solid race throughout but not enough pace to challenge for the podium this weekend, he finished the race in P5.
Australia's Senna Agius continued his good start to the 2026 campaign with a decent points finish while Dutchman Collin Veijer crashed out along with Dani Munoz on the second lap of the restart and will be disappointed not to score points after his pole position and podium last time out in Jerez.
