There is now officially a second father on the grid in Formula 1. Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet's daughter was born on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
A day after their baby daughter was born, Verstappen and Kelly Piquet posted a message on Instagram.
There, it was also announced that her name is Lily.
"Our hearts are fuller than ever - you are our greatest gift. We love you so much," their caption writes.

While Lily is Verstappen's first daughter, Kelly Piquet already has a daughter together Daniil Kvyat. Penelope was born in July 2019. The couple split up six months later.
'P', which is the nickname of Piquet's daughter, currently lives with her mother and Verstappen in Monaco. The couple are officially together since 2021.
During the season finale of the previous season in Abu Dhabi, they announced that Piquet was pregnant. The couple kept the gender of their child a secret, but signs in posts by the Brazilian pointed to a girl. Their daughter was born on May 1, 2025, it was revealed a day later.
