When Lewis Hamilton joined Ferrari, there was already a 'top dog' at the Scuderia, not Charles Leclerc, but his dog, Leo. Along with Hamilton, of course, his popular British bulldog, Roscoe also 'joined the team.'
Hamilton and Leclerc have oth bee very occupied with trying to report the Scuderia to where they belong, the highest echelon of Formula 1.
Although things got off to a rocky start, lately Ferrari has been on the rise, managing to score better results and having a overall more consistent performance.
Nevertheless neither driver has slacked off on their 'parenting' duties. In fact, both Hamilton and Leclerc recently introduced their dogs Roscoe and Leo to each other, and at a fan event at Silverstone the Monegasque revealed how the meet went.

Roscoe and Leo hold 'exploratory talks' in presence of overprotective Leclerc

That Leclerc loves his dog is not to be doubted as the driver of the #16 Ferrari car disclosed how closely knitted their relationship is.
"He [Leo] is amazing as always," he said to fans at Silverstone. "He's travelling with us, with Alexandra and myself, everywhere, and yeah, we take great care of him so I think he's really enjoying it."
With regards to Leo's anticipated meet with Roscoe, Leclerc does admit to be a bit of worrier.
"He met Roscoe, everything went well. Roscoe didn't bite Leo yet. I'm always quite worried, but they are good friends and it's all good," concluded the Monegasque.
At the moment Ferrari are reportedly trying out a new rear suspension at their home track, Mugello, hoping to revamp their 2025 season as the focus will soon switch entirely to the 2026 car.
