Another dramatic qualification for Vettel: "The tyres just didn't work"

After a dramatic qualification for the Austrian Grand Prix, the second weekend doesn't go much better for Sebastian Vettel. In Q3 the German comes last in tenth place.

It is clear that the problems for Ferrari have not yet been solved with the new upgrades for the Steiermark Grand Prix. "It was a very difficult session for us. We just couldn't get the tyres to work. We have to take a good look at that and find out why. I got a lot of aquaplaning at the end of Q2 and Q3", says the Ferrari driver to Sky Sports F1.

Nevertheless, the four-time world champion continues to see the positive points in the painful qualifying session. "It's not ideal, but we have to make sure we learn the maximum from this session and take it to the next rainy session. We will fight on the track and try everything tomorrow", Vettel concluded.
