Verstappen: "You have to accept this, but it's very difficult"

Max Verstappen was on pole position here last year, but against all odds, Red Bull Racing is now experiencing one of their worst weekends in years. The balance in the car is completely off and this caused both Ferrari and Racing Point to finish ahead of Verstappen in qualifying.

Disappointment for Verstappen

"It's a disappointing qualifying of course, not at all what you want," said Verstappen in Dutch to F1TV. "It went very bad all weekend anyway. To be seventh now is of course not what we want. There's nothing you can do about that now."
The question is, of course, what's going wrong. In Austria, things weren't great either, but certainly not as bad as it is now.
"There's just no balance in the car and no grip and then you're standing there. Then you have to accept that, which is very difficult, but we are going to try to make the best of it tomorrow."
